The Great Unfolding (a concept I downloaded in meditation)
The Great Unfolding is something I truly believe we have all experienced at one point or another, but I’m going to explain it in a way that is easy to digest for anyone at any point in their spiritual journey.
The Great Unfolding is life happening for you, and at every step a new layer appears at the time you need it. The Great Unfolding is not something you can force. It is only something that you must sit with and understand as each step arrives for you.
Think of it like a rose budding or like a staircase being created in the very moment you need to step higher. The rose doesn’t just bloom and open at once. It first is a bud, and then slowly, all the layers of the rose begin to unfold, showing you a different and deeper layer of beauty at every point.
The same thing can be said about the stairs. Every time you want to go higher, a new step arrives to bring you there and magically, they appear. This is exactly what happens when you allow life to happen FOR YOU.
However, of course, there are things that you have to do to allow the best things to happen.
1) is an entire mindset shift. When something happens around you that seems unideal, you have to first allow yourself the time to process it emotionally. Pushing those emotions down is the worst thing you can do because your body doesn’t forget what you go through—it remembers.
2) once you’ve decided that you can bear the emotions and move through them, you have to accept the situation for what it is. Accepting that it sucks actually changes it from a negative experience to a positive one because now you’re not fighting against the current. Which is easier said than done, so these ideas take a lot of time to process which is okay. You get the hang of it after a lot of practice.
3) you have to be in the present moment to allow the present moment to unfold—so adding meditation into your life is key. And you can download the free guide and join me for a masterclass that breaks it down (if you haven’t already) so that you understand why and how.
4) doing subconscious work to be able to recognize when repeated patterns are showing up in your life and when you need to change them. Of course we all have gone through our fair share of things in life that have made un afraid, paranoid, angry, full of hate, sad, depressed, isolated, aggravated, etc., etc., but the beautiful thing is that we can reprogram ourselves to think and see the world differently through a wide set of tools and knowledge, which I teach inside the Ancient Academy.
All of these steps are important because they bring you to a place of simply observing the way life unfolds for you, and teaches you how to recognize when it has unfolded according to a past limiting(or angry, or blah blah) thought. See what you want is JUST as important as seeing what you don’t want. It's also so important to note that you can change your mandate any point, and thus, change your life, but I break it down even more in this YouTube video (with added visuals for visual learners).
