The first step to Divine Alignment (peace, purpose, and joy).

Divine Alignment is something that I have been working towards for a very long time in my life. It is a place where peace is attained internally, and even if there is chaos around you, you still feel connected, grounded and loved.

The path to getting there has taken me a little over a decade but I’m happy to say that I have made it, and made it well enough that I’m able to help other get there too.

So, the first step in Divine Alignment is Self-Devotion.

The reason that it is Self-Devotion is because you cannot continue to build anything sustainable if you do not attempt to love yourself first. Building those strong roots within you will bring out all of the amazing things you see in yourself, giving you an opportunity to learn what it is like to be uniquely and truly you.

How can we practice more Self-Devotion?

Well, to be honest with you it isn’t always beautiful and glamorous like we see on the internet. Self-love and self-care isn’t always a face mask and a tea(though often it can be), it is also about doing the work to ground, and sometimes that means going deeper into the things that initially shook your foundation in the first place—which you can learn a little more about in this YouTube video.

It’s the promise to begin to show up for yourself, even if it feels tough.

So today, I want you to make a promise to yourself that you WILL show up for yourself, and DON’T BREAK THAT!

And one exercise to take with you is:

et's do an exercise together for you to dig into your root:

1) The “Why?” Ladder

The purpose of this is to understand your motivations, fears or desires at the deepest level:

  • Choose a statement—ex., “I want to change careers.”

  • Ask yourself: “Why?”

  • Answer honestly.

  • Ask “Why?” again about your new answer.

  • Repeat 5–7 times.

Good luck and I wish you all the self-love in the world.
